Ankarsrums School

We are now looking for a student resource at Ankarsrums for grades 7-9.

The position involves working closely with students and staff to contribute to a safe and structured environment. You will act as a present adult in both teaching situations and in the school's common areas. At the school, we work together to solve our tasks where the team comes before the individual.

Your Responsibilities

As a student resource, this means being an active adult presence in the corridors, common areas, and during transitions between classes. You will also help ensure safety and a conducive learning environment in the classroom.

An important part is to build positive relationships with students through a low-arousal and respectful approach. If necessary, you will follow individual students throughout the school day and collaborate with educators and the student health team.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained teaching assistant or has other relevant post-secondary education in, for example, pedagogy or behavioral science. If you have experience in social work with youth, we consider it an advantage.

We prefer that you have a good ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and acknowledge and reward others' contributions. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Other Information

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment takes place.
